West Sussex is in south east England and just south of London. The county’s only city is Chichester, in the south west of the region, and also takes in the seaside towns of Worthing and Bognor Regis.
The M23 spur off the circular M25 around London goes down to Crawley in the county’s north east. This is where the UK’s second largest airport, Gatwick, is situated, giving domestic and international links for business and leisure travelers.
Tourism is an important part of the mix for the economy, and jobs can be found in many sectors, such as manufacturing, public administration, health, education and the legal and finance sectors.
